Diecast Timing Systems
Start Gate & Finish Line for diecast racing
Playrobotics 4 Lane Drag Racing System
The system has several interesting features and modes:
Race mode: 2 cars vs 4 cars
You can choose if you want to have a 4 car race or race with just two cars (at lane 2 & 3).
Display mode: Time vs rank
You can choose if the finish lane displays will show the rankings of the cars or the time it took them to complete the race.
The timer will show 3 decimal points (1.234) in the 2 cars mode and 2 decimal points (1.23) in 4 cars mode.
I purchased one of these for the DRPG.
Playrobotics PRO Timing System
The PRO edition can work with both:
HotWheels orange tracks and the the grey NASCAR Crash Circuit track by Far-Out-Toys

Alex the owner is a software engineer and stands behind the products he sells. The system's ability to connect to excel spreadsheets is a game changer for running competitive races.
Diecast Track

Spool Heads SR 1:55 Banked Turn 180 degree
I highly recommend these turns. I have 5 of these in use at the DRPG. They perform well in high-speed conditions. They accommodate a wide range of diecast vehicles. These turns are designed for racing.
Spool Heads SR 1:55 Banked Turn 90 degree
I highly recommend these turns. I have 2 in use at the DRPG. I combined them with SR 1:55 straight pieces to make a large (4+ feet wide) 180 turn. They perform well in high-speed conditions.
They accommodate a wide range of diecast vehicles. These turns are designed for racing.
Slanman Customs Banked 180 Degree Curve
I recommend these curves for racing. They handle high speeds fairly well, but some cars will fly off the track at higher speeds.

Hot Wheels Tracks Expansion Packs 4 Packs of 2 (Straight track)
Hot Wheels orange track, 2-foot-long straights. Great track for racing. We utilize 100's of feet of this track at the DRPG.
FATEGO Flexi Track
I purchased 5 sets of this track. 3 double turn sets and 2 jump track sets. These come with open lane curves, double lane and open lane straights and a tower for gravity launching. These track pieces work well in the racing environment we created with them. Fit with the Playrobotics timing systems without modifications. I recommend this track system. Tic Tok & Amazon.
Curve Track - 90 Degree - Die Cast Track Compatible
3d printed single lane curves from Etsy seller. These work well at medium to low speeds but can't handle high speed. Also, diecasts with longer wheelbases will get stuck in these. They come in various colors and sizes. These are nice but not recommended for competitive racing.
Racetrack Connectors Compatible with Hot Wheels, 90 Degree Banked Turn
Curved Corner Track Pieces, 4 Packs Upgrade Edition Compatible with Hot Wheels Classic Track. These come in various colors. They work well at low to medium speeds, but not at high speeds. Diecasts with longer wheels bases struggle go through these turns. Good for some layouts but not recommended for competitive racings. Amazon vendor.

I purchased 7 of these 3 packs and lined the walls of the DRPG with them. I highly recommend these. They come assembled and are easy to install. The cells are big enough to handle even large 1/64 diecasts.

These are nice plastic storage / display cases that can hold 46-48 diecast vehicles.

I bought a pack of these and use them to display loose cars on the DRPG office desk. They are stackable and are a great way to display your nicer loose diecasts.
12Pcs Model Cars Display Case for Hot-Wheels Packaged Cars Wall Mount Shelf
These are sleeves for carded Hot Wheels or Matchbox vehicles. Each sleeve holds up to 10 vehicles. You get 12 sleeves in a pack. These work well but are not as good as the official Hot Wheels version. I purchased 2 of these 12 packs.
